He went above and beyond throughout the website redesign and was honest and clear in his communication. As a business owner, this was an important project, and he truly made the entire process feel handled and stress-free. By far one of the best hires I've made on Fiverr. Highly recommend! **Chanté Salicksingh** Journey Home Counselling Client review Journey Home Counselling Services offers trauma-informed therapy for individuals, children and teens, couples and men. Sessions are in person in Pickering, Ontario, and online across Ontario, Alberta and Quebec. ## Making the first step smaller Reaching out to a therapist is hard. People often visit a counselling website more than once before they get in touch. The site’s job is to make that first step as small and as safe as possible, so everything leads to a free 15-minute consultation behind a single Get Started button. ![Journey Home Counselling homepage on a laptop and a tablet](https://sukeshdas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/journey-home-counselling-laptop-tablet.webp) ## What “home” means The homepage opens like a dictionary entry: home, a sense of safety, clarity and connection within yourself. That one line explains the practice’s name and its whole approach, and tells someone who is struggling that this is a gentle place to start. ![Journey Home Counselling website on a desktop, laptop, tablet and phone](https://sukeshdas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/journey-home-counselling-featured.webp) ## What I built - **Separate service pages** for individual psychotherapy, couples therapy, men’s mental health and wellness workshops, plus an overview of all services - **Our Team** , so people can meet the therapists before choosing one - **A blog written by the therapists** , on topics like perfectionism, attachment styles and culturally relevant therapy - **An FAQ** on the approaches used, such as CBT, DBT and EMDR, and how insurance receipts work - **A free consultation form** , plus About and Contact pages ![Journey Home Counselling website pages on rows of phones](https://sukeshdas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/journey-home-counselling-phones-desk.webp) ## Why Squarespace A small practice should spend its time with clients, not maintaining a website. Squarespace keeps hosting, security and backups out of the way, and the team can publish blog posts and update their bios on their own. Sage green, muted gold and soft grey keep the whole site quiet and warm. ![Journey Home Counselling website sections laid out at an angle](https://sukeshdas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/journey-home-counselling-pages-grid.webp) ## Where it stands A calm, welcoming site where every page points to the same small first step. It scores 100 for SEO in Google Lighthouse. Run a counselling or therapy practice? [Let’s make reaching out feel easier](/contact/).
