How to convert images in bulk
- Add your photos. Drag a whole batch of HEIC, RAW, PNG, WEBP or other images onto the box above, or click Choose Files. On a phone you can pick straight from your photo library.
- Pick a size and a format. Keep full resolution, scale by a percentage, set a target file size such as 100 KB, or enter exact dimensions. Then choose JPG, WEBP or PNG.
- Convert and download. Click Convert. Each file shows its old and new size as it finishes, and you can save them one at a time or all together as a ZIP.
In a test with 8 HEIC photos and 4 PNG files, all 12 came out as JPGs of about 100 KB each in roughly five seconds, with the EXIF data removed.

Compress images to an exact file size
Upload forms often have a limit: 100 KB for an application photo, 500 KB for a listing, a few MB for an email. Choose File Size, set the target and the converter finds the highest quality that fits for each image. If quality alone is not enough, it shrinks the dimensions a little at a time until the file fits. Targets run from 20 KB to 5 MB. For exact sizes such as 1080 x 1080, use Image Dimensions, with padding to keep the whole photo or without it to crop and fill.
Remove EXIF, GPS and other hidden data
Photos carry more than pixels: the phone or camera model, the date and often the exact GPS location where they were taken. Every image converted here is rebuilt from its pixels, so that data is left behind. Turn on the Metadata & AI Tag Cleaner to see a report of what each file contained before it was cleaned, including AI provenance tags such as C2PA Content Credentials.
Why I built a free image converter with no limits
Most online image converters stop you halfway. There is a daily limit, a cap on how many files you can add, a file size limit, a sign-up wall, or a premium plan for the one feature you need. Almost all of them also upload your photos to their servers before they convert anything.
I wanted one free bulk image converter that handles iPhone HEIC photos, camera RAW files, WebP and PNG together, converts as many images at once as you like, and never asks for an account, adds a watermark or uploads a single file. Nothing like that existed in one place, so I built it.
Free image converters compared
Here is how this converter compares with the online image converters people use most. If you are looking for a CloudConvert, iLoveIMG or TinyPNG alternative that doesn't count your files, or a Squoosh alternative that converts more than one image at a time, this is what this tool is for.
| Converter | Free limit | Photos uploaded? | Account or paid plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| This converter (sukeshdas.com) | No limit on files or batches; up to 200 MB per file | No, everything runs in your browser | Neither. Free, no account, no watermark |
| CloudConvert | 10 conversions per day, 1 GB per file | Yes | Paid packages or subscription for more |
| FreeConvert | 20 conversion minutes per day, 5 minutes per file | Yes | Paid plans from $12.99 a month |
| Convertio | Up to 1 GB per file; sign up for larger files | Yes | Paid plans from $6.99 a month (billed yearly) |
| iLoveIMG | Limited tasks and file sizes on the free Basic plan | Yes | Premium from $5 a month (billed yearly) |
| TinyPNG | 20 images per batch, 5 MB each, 3 format conversions | Yes | Web Pro or Web Ultra for more |
| Squoosh | Free, but one image at a time | No | Free, no batch processing |
Free limits as shown on each service's own pricing or tool page in October 2026. They can change.

| Convert multiple images at once | Yes, unlimited | Usually capped on free plans |
| Compress to a target size (e.g. 100 KB) | Yes, 20 KB to 5 MB | Usually a separate compressor |
| Exact dimensions with padding or crop | Yes | Sometimes |
| Removes EXIF and GPS data | Always, with an optional report | Varies |
| Works on iPhone and Android | Yes | Usually |
What you get here that other free converters don't give you
- Your photos never leave your device. Every file is converted inside your browser, even in big batches. Most of the big online converters upload your photos to their servers before converting them.
- No daily limit, batch limit, account or watermark. Convert 5 files or 500. There is no counter, no sign-up wall, no premium plan and no ads.
- HEIC, camera RAW and web formats in one place. iPhone HEIC, 10 RAW formats (CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, RAF, ORF, RW2, PEF, SRW), WebP, AVIF, PNG, GIF, BMP and SVG, instead of a different website for each.
- Every image compressed to an exact file size. Set a target from 20 KB to 5 MB and each image in the batch gets the highest quality that fits, which is what upload forms with a 100 KB limit need.
- Exact dimensions without stretching. Fit the whole photo with padding, or crop to fill an exact size such as 1080 x 1080.
- A metadata report for every file. See the EXIF, GPS and AI provenance tags (such as C2PA) found in each photo before they are removed.
- Real thumbnails for RAW files. Pulled from the preview stored inside each RAW file, so you can tell your photos apart before converting.
- WebP output in every browser, Safari included. Safari cannot create WebP on its own, so the converter brings its own encoder.
Who made this
This converter is a free tool from Sukesh Das, a web designer and developer in Bangladesh. It runs on WebAssembly builds of libheif, LibRaw and libwebp, so the heavy work happens on your own device rather than on a server. If your business needs a tool like this, see custom web app development.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use this to convert HEIC to JPG?
Yes, HEIC to JPG is what this tool is built for. Drop in your iPhone HEIC/HEIF photos and convert the whole batch to JPG (or PNG/WEBP) at once, for free and with no file limit.
Is this bulk image converter really free and unlimited?
Yes. There is no file limit, no sign-up, and no watermark. Conversion runs in your own browser, so there is no server-side cost that would require a paywall.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Every file is decoded and converted locally in your browser (HEIC to JPG conversion uses WebAssembly). Your images never leave your device.
What image formats can this converter support (PNG, WEBP, RAW, SVG, and more)?
Besides HEIC and HEIF, you can also convert PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, SVG, and camera RAW files (ARW, CR2, CR3, NEF, DNG, ORF, RW2, RAF, PEF, SRW) to JPG, PNG, or WEBP, all in the same tool.
Can I convert RAW camera photos (ARW, CR2, NEF, DNG, and more) to JPG?
Yes. RAW files straight off a camera or phone (Sony ARW, Canon CR2/CR3, Nikon NEF, Adobe DNG, Olympus ORF, Panasonic RW2, Fuji RAF, Pentax PEF, Samsung SRW) convert to JPG, PNG, or WEBP the same way as any other format. A self-hosted WebAssembly build of LibRaw does the decoding entirely in your browser, so no plug-in or desktop software is needed, and it works on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, on both desktop and mobile. The file list also shows a real thumbnail pulled from the RAW file's own embedded preview, so you can tell your photos apart before converting.
Will converting reduce my image quality?
You control this with the quality slider, or by choosing a target file size or exact dimensions. Source images are decoded losslessly first, then re-encoded once at the settings you choose, so there's no unnecessary double-compression. Very large photos are capped at 16 megapixels so they convert reliably in every browser, including Safari on iPhone: a 24-megapixel RAW file comes out at about 4,900 x 3,270 pixels.
Does converting a photo remove metadata and GPS location?
Yes. Every image is decoded and re-encoded from scratch during conversion, which automatically strips EXIF data (including GPS location), XMP, and IPTC metadata, whether or not the Metadata & AI Tag Cleaner checkbox is on. Turning that checkbox on adds a report showing exactly what metadata was found and cleaned on each file before and after conversion.
Can I remove AI-generation tags like ChatGPT or C2PA from an image?
Yes. Turn on the Metadata & AI Tag Cleaner checkbox before converting to detect and strip AI-generation tags, including C2PA Content Credentials used by ChatGPT/DALL-E, Google Gemini, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion. The checkbox also applies a tiny, invisible pixel adjustment that helps prevent reverse-image search from matching the converted file to its original.
How many images can I convert at once?
There is no set limit. Large batches are processed a few files at a time in the background so the page stays responsive, and each file can be up to 200 MB.
Can I compress images to 100 KB or another exact size?
Yes. Choose File Size, set the target anywhere from 20 KB to 5 MB, and each image is saved at the highest quality that fits. If quality alone is not enough, the dimensions are reduced a little at a time until the file fits.
Why is my JPG bigger than the original HEIC photo?
HEIC is a more efficient format than JPG, so a JPG at the same quality is usually larger. Lower the quality slider, use File Size to set a limit, or choose WEBP for a smaller file.
How do I convert HEIC to JPG on Windows?
Open this page in Edge, Chrome or Firefox, drop in your HEIC files and click Convert. You don't need the HEIF or HEVC extensions from the Microsoft Store, because the photos are decoded inside the page.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It runs in Safari and Chrome on phones and tablets. On mobile it uses fewer background workers to save memory, so very large batches take a little longer.
Is there a free image converter with no limits and no sign-up?
Yes, this one. Many online converters cap free use with daily limits, batch limits or file size limits, or ask you to sign up or pay for more. This converter has no file or batch limit, needs no account, adds no watermark and never uploads your photos, because the conversion runs in your own browser.
