About these terms
These terms apply when you use sukeshdas.com, hire me for a project or buy a digital product from me. “I”, “me” and “my” mean Sukesh Das, a freelance web designer and developer based in Bangladesh. “You” means the person or business using the site or hiring me. By using this site, you agree to these terms.
Using this website
- The content on this site is for general information. I work to keep it accurate, but I cannot promise that every article is complete or up to date.
- Tutorials and code snippets are provided as they are. Always back up your website and test changes on a staging copy before using them on a live site.
- Please do not use the site for anything unlawful, try to break its security, or copy large parts of it.
Intellectual property
The text, design, images and code on this website belong to me unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to use code snippets from my tutorials on your own websites and your clients’ websites. Please do not republish my articles or images without permission. Client logos, websites and screenshots in the portfolio belong to their owners.
Project work
Quotes and scope
Every project starts with a written quote that sets out the scope, price, timeline and payment terms. If the quote and these terms disagree, the quote applies. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before I start it.
Payments
Payments are due as set out in the quote. Unless the quote says otherwise, work begins once the first payment arrives, and the site goes live once the final payment is made.
Your part
You are responsible for providing content, feedback and access (hosting, domain and other accounts) on time, and for making sure you have the rights to any text, images or logos you send me. Late content or feedback can move the timeline.
Ownership
Once the project is paid in full, you own the finished website, the content you supplied and the custom code I wrote for you. Themes, plugins, fonts and other third-party tools stay under their own licenses. Domains, hosting and other accounts are set up in your name wherever possible. I may show the finished project in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.
Revisions and changes
The quote states how many rounds of revisions are included. Further changes after you sign off can be done as paid work.
Ending a project
Either of us can end a project in writing. You pay for the work completed up to that point, and I hand over everything that has been paid for.
After launch
I test everything before launch. If something I built does not work as agreed, tell me and I will fix it. Updates to WordPress, plugins, themes or other services after launch can change how a site behaves, and ongoing care is available as a maintenance plan.
Hiring me through a marketplace
If you hire me through Fiverr, Upwork or another platform, that platform’s terms and payment rules apply first.
Digital products and licenses
Plugins and other digital products are licensed, not sold. A license lets you use the product on the number of websites stated on the product page, for the license period, including updates and support during that period. You may not resell or redistribute the product. Refunds follow the terms shown on the product page and at checkout.
Limitation of liability
I take care with every project, but I cannot be responsible for losses caused by things outside my control, such as hosting outages, third-party plugins and services, security attacks, or changes that you or others make to the site. As far as the law allows, my total liability for a project is limited to the amount you paid me for it, and I am not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

This site links to other websites and services. I am not responsible for their content or for how they handle your data.
Privacy
How I handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Projects already under way follow the terms agreed when they started.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If a disagreement comes up, let’s first try to settle it by talking it through.
