River of Talent is an early-stage startup from San Jose, California. Its conversational AI runs pre-qualification interviews with every job applicant, around the clock, so hiring teams only spend time on qualified people and candidates are never left waiting. The founder, Warren Edwards, needed a website to launch the product and sign up early clients.
The challenge
Warren’s brief was short. He knew what the product did, but not how the site should look or flow. AI hiring tools are also a crowded, sceptical space. Recruiters want to know what it does, whether it fits their existing systems and whether candidates will trust it, all before they book a call.

The approach
I treated the homepage as a sales conversation with a busy hiring manager. Start with their pain, show how simple the fix is, prove the value, answer the hard questions, then ask for the demo.
- The promise: an always-on recruiting assistant, with a demo button in the first screen
- The problem: teams drowning in hundreds of applications while good candidates slip away
- How it works: three plain steps, from job description to a shortlist
- The value: key benefits in hours saved and better shortlists
- The doubts: an FAQ covering setup time, AI transparency, fake answers and bias
- The ask: an early client programme that makes signing up now feel worthwhile

What I delivered
- A Squarespace site with Home, Why Us, Ideal For, Request a Demo and Privacy Policy pages
- A conversion-focused homepage with demo calls to action at every natural stopping point
- A demo sign-up page to capture leads from hiring teams
- Calm, nature-inspired visuals built around the river idea, so the AI product feels human, not cold
- A fully responsive layout, plus SEO titles and descriptions built around AI pre-qualification interviews

The outcome
From a few lines of brief, River of Talent got a clear, credible launch site that explains the product in seconds and points every visitor towards a demo. It is now live and onboarding early clients.
