VCO Vocational Specialists is a California forensic vocational evaluation firm. Its experts write earning capacity analyses, LeBoeuf reports, labor market surveys, SIBTF evaluations and employability assessments for attorneys and claims professionals. The team needed a website that looked as credible as their reports and made it easy for legal clients to refer a case.
The challenge
Attorneys choose an expert witness on trust. They want to see credentials, understand exactly which evaluations are offered and know how to send a referral, fast. Vocational evaluation is also a niche field full of technical terms, so the site had to speak the language of lawyers and adjusters without confusing anyone.
The approach
This was a true collaboration. We worked through several design iterations together, refining the layout and feel each round until the team was fully happy. I built the structure around the questions a referring attorney actually asks.
