Miami Speech Therapy Experts helps adults with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing difficulties, including people recovering from a stroke or brain injury and people living with dementia or Parkinson’s. Visits happen at home across South Miami-Dade, or online by teletherapy in Florida and California.
Who the site is really for
The person searching is usually not the patient. It is a daughter, a son or a partner, worried and short on time, and in Miami, often more comfortable in Spanish. So I wrote and laid out the site for the caregiver first: plain words, the service and the area in the headline, and “Call or Text” and “Se Habla Español” at the very top of every page.
What I built
- A new logo for the practice, designed alongside the site so the brand feels calm and trustworthy from the first glance
- 5 pages: Home, About Me, Services, Blog and Contact Me
- A blog organised into five topics, from stroke recovery to teletherapy, with articles such as “Top 7 signs you or a loved one may need adult speech therapy”
- A free consultation call to action on every page
- A calm palette of forest green, cream and mint with Marcellus and Manrope type

Why WordPress
Helpful articles are how families find a therapist on Google, and WordPress is built for publishing them. I used the Kadence theme with Elementor so pages stay fast and easy to edit, and LiteSpeed caching keeps it quick on phones.

The outcome
A practice with no waiting room now has a front desk that is open all day. In Google Lighthouse the site scores 100 for SEO and 100 for best practices, and every page leads a worried family to one simple next step.
Adriana also has a short video I recorded for her, showing how to update the site herself, so a new article or a change of hours never has to wait for a developer.
