Novelia Fashion sells imported handbags, crossbody bags, totes and men’s sneakers from Habiganj, Bangladesh. Every product comes from China and is quality checked before it ships.
The goal
The owner wanted a store that looks like a real fashion brand, not a Facebook page with a cart. It also had to work the way Bangladeshi customers actually buy: on a phone, in Bangla, paying cash when the parcel arrives. Most local shoppers do not trust paying first, and fake orders cost a courier charge every time a parcel is refused.
What I built
A brand-led WooCommerce store
I built the store on WooCommerce with XStore and Elementor Pro, with custom header, footer, shop, category and product templates in the brand’s rose gold and navy. Color swatches add to cart directly, and every product shows its savings as a “% ছাড়” badge.
Bangla where it matters
Buttons, badges, stock labels, the checkout and the order pages are in Bangla, with the AdarshaLipi font so the text reads cleanly on any phone.
A checkout built for Cash on Delivery
The checkout asks only for a name, mobile number, address and district. Delivery is free inside Habiganj and 130 tk everywhere else, worked out from the district. New orders wait “On hold” until the team calls to confirm, which cuts fake orders before anything is packed.
Invoices and packing slips
I coded a Bangla invoice and packing slip with the store’s logo, a paid or unpaid seal and a large “amount to collect” box for the rider. Each order downloads as a PDF in one click, and many orders print together.
Fast on mid-range phones
Most visitors arrive from Facebook on Android phones and mobile data. I tuned LiteSpeed Cache with a separate mobile cache, WebP images, lazy loading and deferred scripts, removed the theme’s demo content and unused images, and set up Rank Math SEO with product schema and a branded share image.
The result
Novelia now has a store that looks premium, speaks the customer’s language and fits the way the team runs orders: call, confirm, pack, print and ship. Customers order in under a minute and pay at the door.
