LED Giant Mainz, run by Billboard247 GmbH, sells advertising on a large digital LED screen at Alicenplatz in Mainz, right by the main station. The site is in German and has one main job: help businesses book time on that screen.
Selling one screen with numbers
Media buyers do not buy adjectives. So the main page is a single scrolling story that leads with what they need to decide: around 580,000 gross contacts a day, the cost per thousand contacts on monthly and yearly bookings, the location, public transport links and how flexible a campaign can be. The menu simply jumps to each answer.

More than one page behind it
The sales page is backed by the pages a German business needs and a buyer looks for:
- A blog with design tips for the screen and articles on advertising psychology
- A Downloads page, plus Press and Careers pages
- A sustainability page for the screen
- AGB and Impressum, the legally required terms and imprint

Why WordPress
Articles, press updates, downloads and legal pages, all in German, need a proper content system. WordPress with Astra and Elementor handles that comfortably, and NitroPack keeps the image-heavy pages fast.

A partnership, not a one-off
This site is part of a longer story. Robert Krumme and I have worked together since 2021, on 44 projects so far, from design and fixes to migrations and custom functionality. The LED Giant Mainz website is one of them.
The feel
“Ein Hauch von Times Square”, a touch of Times Square, sets the tone: night-time city photography, bold red with black and white, and two named sales contacts at the end so a buyer always knows who they are speaking to. In Google Lighthouse it scores 92 for SEO.
Selling advertising, space or a single big product? Let’s make the numbers do the selling.
